Yesterday morning, Leanne and I ditched school to go to the farmers market in town for brekky (breakfast). I found it amazing that so many people were able to go to the market on a weekday and Leanne said it was because so many people own their own businesses or are self-starters, so their hours are totally up to them. We had the most AMAZING breakfast tacos. I was obsessed! Then we went downtown to have a coffee at Combi and I bought a chocolate, pear muffin. Absolutely delicious.

At school, Year 8 is coming along quite well with their ceramic cakes. They have been great all week, very focused and engaged until today. Again, still can't find the pattern of why they are so hot and cold, but definitely have not let it affect me as much as it did the first couple weeks.

The next evening, Leanne incited Helen and I for dinner as I hadn't had a traditional Aussie barbie (apparently they never ever calls prawns 'shrimp,' so the saying, 'shrimp on the barbie' is a lie). She made the most delicious salad and grilled prawns on the barbie with mango sauce. Everything was so fresh and amazing. We then had pav (pavlova) for desert. We nearly ate the whole desert, it was so good. Pav is basically a meringue with fresh whipped cream, berries, and passion fruit. Helen was outraged because Leanne put chocolate shavings on top, which isn't customary, but I loved!

And the view wasn't half bad either!

Today, Helen and I went to the Bangalow market which was enormous! I definitely need to slow down my spending because I can't help myself. I buy everything because it's all beautifully crafted and unique to the area!

Can't believe I only have three more weeks left. It has shot by way too fast!
